Many of you might be wondering why we’re launching Doloc Town through Early Access.
The game has been in development for about 4 years, and we started sharing it on social media about a year ago, with the demo released last September. It’s already been a long journey—and waiting another six months or more for the full release would only make it longer for everyone.

Additionally, as our indie studio’s first-ever project, the team lacks extensive experience and is eager to receive feedback and guidance from the community as development continues. In fact, the feedback received since the demo release has made a significant impact on the current gameplay already, which we’re truly grateful for it!

As a result, the team has decided to release Doloc Town through Early Access this May.


The Early Access version of Doloc Town will be priced at $14.99 USD on Steam for the US region (regional pricing may vary). To celebrate the launch with our community and fans, a small discount will be offered to players who purchased during the first week of launch.

In short, players can expect over 20 hours of mainstory gameplay, plus much more to explore,
including but not limited to:

- A charming town of Doloc, with 20+ warm-hearted townsfolk
- A cozy farm to call it home
- A harsh weather system
- 3 vastly different map areas to explore
- A large variety of side quests
- Farming (basic & advanced farming, with 20+ plantable crops)
- Resource gathering
- Building (10+ platforms/container variations)
- Crafting (100+craftable items)
- Cooking (80+ recipes)
- Fishing (22 fish variations)
- Drone expansions
- A wide variety of monsters
- Transportation (vehicle & bus stop)

According to our schedule, the Early Access version is expected to last less than a year. Upon initial Early Access launch, the team will focus on optimizing issues reported by players, before gradually moving towards new content development. An Early Access roadmap will be revealed shortly after launch to share more details with the community.


Doloc Town Early Access comes with limited language options. While there’s no guarantee that more languages will be added, we suggest players watch for our official announcement post-release, as the team may consider adding new languages along the way.

Currently, the game will only be released on the Steam platform for PC. Other platforms, such as Switch, mobile, and console, are not a primary focus at this time. The team will prioritize finishing and polishing the game on PC before considering any other platforms.

As a small indie studio making our first title, we understand that the game and the demo you played are far from perfect.
