I'm probably missing something really obvious but when I started playing I didn't get a tutorial (I've bought the game, so this isn't the demo). How do I recruit monsters? Or is this something that's unlocked later? I've defeated the Kindergarten Boss.

1073741819 the fifth time 1073741571 I think I'm getting this one more often, seems like it doesn't like if I do stuff rather fast. Seems like it crashed when I left the room trying to escape from the monsters and after the room it still triggered the fight. The second time a fight went to fast I guess, my PC made noises but fairly quiet compared to other situations....

I don't know what is considered a "shiny" in this game because every monster is a slightly randomized hue, but I thought I could share some of the rarest monsters I've been able to find so far.
