Dedicated Server not running on virtual machines

Dear developers
I was trying to setup a dedicated server (The Front) on a virtual machine on my Server-Center.
This is the only game I have seen so far that tells me it is not capable of running on virtual machines.
Please fix this bug or is there information about this problem.

I can host the server but he wasnt listed, portforwarding is correct. Other server like wreckfest runs fine.

It's not the game fault, it's the ACE anti cheat fault, if you check the official website for this anti cheat, it's bad designed for any virtual machines.

anyone found a fix for this? I cannot imagine dedicated hardware beiing used for all servers out there (i might be wrong though)

if the ACE software is the problem, is it possible to disable it somehow?

I run a dedi server on a linux machine using docker and LGSM. Maybe try a Ubuntu guest on Hyper-V if you don't have a linux machine? ACE is not involved, and I've disabled it for our private game.

Not to necro this, but my friends and I are refunding this game because we all collectively banged our heads over trying to set up a dedicated server to play on. Disappointing

I finally started the server with WindowsGSM on a virtual machine (Proxmox) without any problems.

If anyone need some help or searching for a pve Server let me know. 😃👍

Hey man, not to be a necro but do you still know how to set up source dedicated servers? I've tried to run srcds with Windows Server 2019 with css, cs2, and nmrih and they wont open or crash.
