How to farm Inorganic Salt Ore?
Ive been told to go to the desert beach but havent found it

there is a Salt mine at K11 and some salt stone (white) on a small spot by the water by a broken down house - if not there take stone and burn it in your forge, you will get salt ore from that

Along the beaches there is some to, the easiest place to get it is from smelting stone and honestly this is all i need to do to have enough.

The K11 quarry is worth the trip. With an upgraded iron pickaxe, I came away with 800 ore. Haven't tried it with a jackhammer, but I imagine it'll be more.

with a legendary jackhammer i came out with 2225 ore

if you are in the north you can farm stone and put it through the advanced refinement in the furnace for some salt in the mix of other ore, you can also use the mine shaft for ores

There is also a salt mine at the NW corner of I9. *(Eye nine)
