will not launch game

Bought the game to play with some friends. When i hit the launch button it does not boot or give any error messages. It also does not appear on task manager. Anyone else have this issue and figure out a resolution? I tried drivers, reinstalling the game, verifying. We are at a loss at the moment.

rtx 2080

Try this:

Start steam with admin privileges and also start the game with admin rights.

(right click -> start as admin)

Honestly I would just refund and wait for them to work out all these problems. You are not alone and the game is not worth jumping through hoops to play it right now. Let the devs fix these problems on their end before you give them money.

Try disabling your soundcard and usind the onboard one... i read in another post of problems between ue4 and some soundcards...

this is the same thing i got . so i got a refund on steam back on the 14th oct so i seen the game on Epic full price on there E17.99 full price soi got it and still the same thing An envelope that shows the game so i try this and that and now i have this Error Code: LS-0013 .. o i did go on the discord and posted there but the devs did not get back to me so any of you guys get it going ?

Hey guys, I just got the game, had the same problem but theres an really easy workaround.

The problem is that the "play" button on steam is targeting the wrong .exe in the game folder.

If you want to play the game start steam as Admin (I don't know if it's needed but it do it everytime)

then you navigate to your game folder and click on the "start_protected_game.exe" start this one as admin and the game will launch.


Also if you don't want to do this everytime, just copy the "start_protected_game.exe" to your desktop and rename it to "The Front" right click on it and set it to "start with admin rights" so you are good to go and have a normal .exe on your Desktop. From there you can easy start the game everytime you want to play. Just don't try to start it over steam. Still DEV's should look into it and fix it.
