Failed To Establish Connection With Server

One of my buddies is on the server right now, server 2015, for some reason I can't join, I keep getting this message.

Still getting this issue? I've verified files and restarted my pc, makes no difference, fail to connect on every server I try. It was working fine for me until this update.

My friend also get the same issue. He cannot join any of the official servers.

Now when I go to log into server it now gets past the password issue lets me select character, when I select start it gives me a "Failed connection to host", then when yes is selected it says, "Failed to establish connection with server." I have no idea what is going on. On the second message it actually loaded to the area where I was kicked from server yesterday when the out of the blue the update hit everyone without notice. I have tried connecting to other servers dedicated as well as Official and cannot get into them, same issues.
Hopefully there is a fix, alot of people are having this issue after the last Update.

I'm trying to track this issue here and in their discord, no update as of yet.

The servers are super unstable. That's all there is too it. Ignore any attempts by shills to say its on your end, it definitely is not.

Nobody has said anything is on my end, as well, I would be highly doubtful of that since a ton of other people are having an identical issue.

FOUND WORK AROUND: Don't know why, but if you start a dedicated server, turn anti cheat option to "off" and you can play online. So whatever the issue is, lays in the EAC program.

if you have a single player game with cheat disabled delete it and put anti cheat back on then save settings in the single player settings ,i did this and was able to join any server again.its either the anti cheat or the single player thats buggered

I spent a while trying to spin a DS up with steamcmd. Would just immediately throw server connection failed. Server command window would display "Error: Client not network compatible". Netstat would show the ports were listening.
Off a whim, I tried the dedicated server in the location I have the client installed (not with steamcmd), that allowed it to work. Not sure why. Haven't investigated much further yet.
