Dedicated Server Issues
bought the game today, and wanted to set up my own server. The server is running, and it appears to be reading the config from my custom config file. However the server doesn't show up in the server browser, and when I try to use Steam's "view serves" option, I can see that I'm pinging the server, in the command window, but the server still doesn't show up.

I run multiple other servers, based on UE5, without any issues, but for whatever reason, this custom dedicated server just isn't playing ball. Frustrating to say the least, and without any proper server guides, I no longer know what to troubleshoot.
I've already gone through the port configs, firewall settings, and made sure the IP is set to my public IP. The server I'm running the game server from, is an older rig, which I turned into a server, and thus is on the same network as my gaming rig. But as I stated earlier, none of the other server I run, are having these sorts of issues.

So if anyone out there is running their own dedicated server (not rented), please share some insight into how you got your server to run/show up in the browser.

Make sure you have opened/forwarded TCP and UDP for ports 5001, 5002 and 5003 on your firewall. The servermanger got a bug and creates a bugged startserver.bat where the setting outipadress (or something similar, not 100% sure) is set to the LOCAL IP not to the PUBLIC IP - and every time you open the servermanager or change settings, it gets overwritten again with the wrong ip. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply, but I already have all the correct ports opened, and I have the outip set to my public IP.
