Adventure Mode: Modern Infantry

This is the quest to unlock Polymer. My wife and I have cleared bosses past this step due to being stuck, however it says to destroy an imperial beacon which is no where to be found in Thorn Fortress. Anyone had this issue, or is it not implemented yet?

There's literally a door in the bottom chamber that has "coming soon" spray painted across the door.

Part of the task text says something about using explosive on walls, but it sounds like they're mentioned above ground walls. I tried chucking hand grenades (the only explosives I have) around but nothing is destructible. Either above or below ground. I don't seem to have any recipes for anything like timed C-4 charges.

So this might be uncompletable.

Like the OP, I found I could go to other locations and defeat bosses there. I get the normal unlocks from that boss, but I'm missing out on the recipes from the _tasks_. The polymer recipe unlock is from completing the task to defeat the thorn fortress, not the rewards for defeating that "boss".

Im literally stuck on this task too... ive thrown grenades all around the lower bunker hoping a wall would break... also i have not seen any beacon looking structures to destroy. i dont understand why this is broken lol.... so frustrating.

Not broken, just obviously not finished. I mean the door literally says "coming soon" on it.

Not being able to make polymer really does slow down switching to higher grade steel armor and weapons. Polymer is a super rare drop. I save every single pc I find. I only generally only find 1 at a time. I think I have 13 units now.

On a side note, has anyone unlocked a shovel yet? getting clay to make steel is also impossible right now. I've been hitting all the beacon drops in hope of finding a random shovel in the crate. No luck. And I haven't seen shovels unlock from any previous goal, unless I'm blind.

It's not just this game but pretty much in many games sadly (william_es not included in that crowd).

Hit sand/clay/oil nodes with a pickaxe. There's no shovel in adventure mode.

I will check that out. I don't think... heavy sigh... I ever tried using a pickaxe on it. Thanks. Now I DO kind of feel low IQ. LOL.

There's like NOTHING on adventure mode online.

I'm not a big fan of this game either, but I'll play it anyway. I'm also at this point of the door that I'm supposed to blow open, unfortunately I haven't found a way to get in there yet and since it says coming son, it will probably take some time until that's fixed.

But calling other people fools is no way of helping. Such a thing is only possible if you are not the smartest yourself.

Here's the difference, you saw "coming soon" and understood what that meant, yet they couldn't. I think that speaks for itself with regards to people using that valuable tool inside their head.
