In this mode, characters no longer have levels. The tech tree has been revamped, allowing you to unlock new technologies automatically as you complete missions and track down bosses. You can dive into this thrilling adventure with up to five friends by selecting Adventure Mode when creating or joining a server.
Key Differences from the Open World Mode
- New Tutorial and Challenge Stages:
We've introduced new tutorial stages to guide you through the basic game mechanics and combat techniques. The challenge stages, featuring complex environments and formidable bosses, are designed to enhance your combat experience. We’ve also optimized routes and added new structures like watchtowers and houses to enrich the scene effects.
- Enhanced Melee Combat:
Prepare for a more diverse melee combat system! With new weapons like machetes, clubs, and hammers, you can now perform combos, charge attacks, block, and dodge. Consistent attacks on specific body parts of monsters can even lead to limb dismemberment, providing a hyper-realistic battle experience.
- Task-Based Technology Unlocking with Boss Tracking:
In the "Spark" interface, you can now access detailed information on bosses. By activating the "Tracking Mode," you can quickly locate bosses using your portable radar. Defeating bosses, either solo or with your team, will earn you tracking rewards, including specific tech recipes for workbenches, weapons, and vehicles.
Okay but this only tells me what Adventure mode offers, not the difference between the two modes. I have never played the game before so I have no idea what standard mode is like.
