Meat Grinders don't do ♥♥♥♥

So I originally built like 30 of them but they don't do ♥♥♥♥ (besides that it takes forever for them to activate).... just like the poison gas thing.
For a tower defense game I find that really hrmmmm.

The only thing that seems to work is the stuff that doesn't need power (and yea, I know it takes some time for current to get through) - but even then I see no damage being done

Only thing that seems to work are floor spikes and turrets.

Either way, here's my problem:
It takes quite some effort to build those items and then they seemingly don't do ♥♥♥♥.
My maze is really working fine but when I see that it deals no damage.... ugh

Only thing reliable rn seems to be spike floors - they work like a charm... they're brutal
Ballistas also - but latter of course need food (other term for arrows)

meat grinders are the only trap that revels the invisible/stealth npcs, without them they will run straight to your beacon and destroy it. your meat grinders should be running non stop, i.e shouldnt need activating. Ive not really tried poison sprayers as up till recently mushrooms were a pain to get, but maybe try them with a bear trap in front.

best traps in the game are flamethrowers but you have to set them up right, watch this vid, during it you can see the steath mobs run past most of the traps till they hit the meat grinders. its at about the 3 minute point in the video. Notice how when they are stealthed it doesnt trigger the spike traps.

I will agreed with gentleman above however all my traps work just fine you just have to find right combination and right path for them to go if some of you traps not working check power you might don't have enough to run all traps ...
