Banned vs Suspended?

Question for the community as I cannot find any information at all on this topic.

Is there a difference between being banned vs suspended in this game?

2 days ago, our squad got into a heated battle with another squad. A lot of ish talking back and forth, we got wiped first by the other squad, came back and got our revenge. A lot of ish talking back and forth but that is about it....can you get your account suspended for this? If so, how do you know how long you are suspended for?

I've played lots of game where opposing clans/ guilds/ squads will smack talk to each other, or as you have said ish talking.

The content and context of that smack/ ish talking will determine if a suspension or ban is required. Obviously a report with proof would have to be filed by someone before any disciplinary action gets taken.

Yeah, I already submitted a ticket yesterday with no response.

The only other thing I can think of, which I did not see as a violation in the terms of service was using invisible characters in my name. Besides that, there was no glitching, duping etc by any of us in our squad.

But does the pop-up stating Account Suspended mean the same thing as a ban or is there a different popup when you get banned?

That is what I am trying to differentiate.

Some games suspended is just a short disciplinary action. Other games suspended can mean banned versus using the word banned.

Ideally whatever pop up or whoever developed it used the definition of the words correctly. suspend is usually temporary, banned is RIP. Or no one thought about it that much and used both for it to mean whatever they feel like it could mean on Monday versus Tuesday.
