How many bases can you have?

Is it possible to have multiple bases and respawn points? I am currently not at my computer and am unable to test this at the moment.

You can have multiple bases. I had two and a beacon at the same time. But I never got the option to respawn anywhere else than "nearby". :-(
Two beds did not change anything. Is there a trick?

Beds act as spawn points which is true. You only get the option to choose which spawn point upon death (if you have multiple beds across the map), otherwise when you login in, it is at last place you logged off or at your base (if that is where you logged off.

You can have multiple bases, though only one can have a Spacetime Beacon. You can have up to 2 flag poles. At the very least 3 bases with some kind of territory marker. Can more than 3 be possible, I'm not sure.

There is a setting in the ini file that allows more the 1 beacon. Which means you can have more bases ;)
