Delete power line?
I use the electric tool pack to create connections. The description says I can use it to disconnect too. How?
How do I disconnect/delete a power line?

You have to keep hovering with the tool to find the "cable" to delete it.
I know its not easy at times to find it.

Don't need the electrical tool equipped. Find the wire, hold down F, select destroy.

I tried that and I destroyed a mine instead. So how do I know I am "f"ing the cable and not the structure the cable is attached to?

Sorry if the question is stupid somehow. Perhaps I am missing something obvious. Don't think you have to give a smart answer :-) It might be the most basic thing ever I am missing here.

When hovering over the cable the tool tip will say "Cable". Don;t do it near the termination point, find somewhere along the cable path. It is easy to mess up, i have accidentally destroyed many o walls this way :D

I can understand the frustration when an item gets destroyed versus the cable, have done it myself. As Cletus Sr above mentioned, try not to be too close to the item the wire is connected to, may need to move a step or 2 away, then destroy the cable.

I tried again in my new base and it was easy peasy.
I think I had the ore mine and the oil drill too near each other, so the cable could not be selected. Or I am just better now and rule the cables. Who knows.

Thank you guys!
Because of your posts I knew in the new base what to try first and it worked at once.
