Spacetime Beacon and Flag issue

I run a private server for a few friends, the beacon limit is set to 5. I was setting up for a creature lure and had bad placement of the spacetime beacon so i removed it and tried to place it again but could not due to reaching my beacon limit.

I had 2 flags out, 1 at my base and 1 at a remote location, I had to remove one of those two flags to place the beacon and I could not place another flag unless I went far enough away from the beacon.

Makes no sense as I able to place the beacon fine until i destroyed it and moved it. Seems like something screwy is going on with the server and beacons/flags.

Anyone else?
