W and S controlling the cyclic for lift makes perfect sense, but the mouse movement for pitch and yaw is WAY too slow. Plus the view being as limiting as it is can make some landings extremely difficult.
OP's suggestion makes it too arcade-y IMHO. It shouldn't be as easy as driving a car in an arcade. Just fix strafe and mouse sensitivity/responsiveness.
or how about add arcade as an option to the existing ones?
IMO, the flying part of the helicopter shouldn't be the detractor once you've managed to acquire all the parts for it.
If people on the ground see a heli, they shouldn't have t worry whether the person in the heli even makes it to them, they should worry about the armament.
