How to allow others to use vehicle placed by me?

Lol, it's in the title. When my friend tries to get into passenger seat or on driver seat, game simply does not allow to. We're in the same party. Do I need to switch some setting or.. ?

The first car you get is a solo vehicle. Your friend SHOULD be able to get into the passenger side of the pickup truck and some other the other higher-level vehicles.

What about Camel truck? It has passenger seat, but it does not allow him to interract with it if i place the vehicle (and vise-versa)

My friends and I are able to do this just fine. Hold "use", then wiggle the mouse to cancel the "get in" timer. Note that there are options for getting in as driver or passenger, an option to view the inventory, and an option to reclaim.

If I place the vehicle, I get all four options. If you try, you'll see all four options, but "get in as driver" and "reclaim" will have red text.

You should still get the option for "get in as passenger", which should also be the default action from the right side of the vehicle.

Make sure that they are part of your squad first and then have them hold F on it and select passenger. If you are wanting them to drive then that isn't a thing right now, only the person that places the vehicle can drive/pilot it.

Left side of vehicle defaults to driver and right side defaults to passenger

I have a similar issue where I can not pick up my friends camel truck. it got damaged and was undrivable I went back later with a welding torch repaired it enough to all use but I can not pick it up. Is there some setting that would allow me to pick up a friends camel truck?

As far as I can tell, whoever places it is the sole owner. Only the owner can drive or reclaim it. Once the owner reclaims it, they can throw it on the ground or in a container for someone else to grab. That person can then place the vehicle to become the new owner.

Presumably, there will eventually be a way to unlock vehicles to others, but I don't see any way to do it right now.

Reclaim vehicle, drop vehicle, your teammate get vehicle crate and place, now he can drive your car.
