How do you get seeds from corn?

Can you grow corn?? if so how do you get the seeds. every time i find them it just gives me corn, not corn seeds??

I haven't grown corn yet but it can be grown. There are seeds available, I don't remember if I got it from looting or picking corn out in the open map.

eat corn, it will give you one seed, plant it when it will be in breeding stage then harvest it for more seeds :)

Yes

I tried to uproot and got nothing

I concluded that harvesting them with a sickle during the breeding phase of the plant will yield 2 seeds per plant.

I am just adding this information as it wasn't specified
