Does the game have a large generator?
Does the game have a large generator?
If not, it could be a good idea to have one, I have so many generators right now, it's insane. :(

If a larger generator also includes additional output ports, I can get behind that.

Are you using splitters and couplers to reduce how generators you need to use?

I am lots of them, I have 4 large mines and tons of traps, lights etc so basically I have around 12 generators, it's just pretty annoying. We do have the large water container, large mines and, it would make sense to have a large generator.

how are they on fuel consumption? im currently powering everything with wind. for example: does the oil digging station get enough back to cover its fuel cost via generator?

you need 2 generators to run 2 large mines, insane.
Now I have a question for you how many wind thingy and batteries do you need to run a large mine?

wind is 52 power per turbine. dont know how much a mine needs.
how much gasoline are you burning per hour to run 2 generators?

generator is 240 so wind is bad, worse then solar which last time I checked was 80, I guess we dont' use batteries with wind, like when we use solar? If it does how many batteries u need attached to it so it can run non-stop all day?

wind turbines for me gen 61 power, but need no other obstructions withing range besides the one pillar / floor or on terrain, any other obstructions including pillars or several floors / walls around them reduce power by 6 for each obstruction, they NEED to remove the hindrance of things BELOW a wind turbine.....

interesting I was thinking to place them inside my base even on the roof but there are walls around so maybe better to put a pillar and have them stick up, but my questions are...
1) do they work all day, solar panels shuts off at night
2) do they need a battery attached to them and if yes how many each?

Thanks

Yes they work 24 hours a day and no they don't need batteries attached you can plug them straight into the items you need to power, you can use a coupler to combine multiple generators or turbines together to power larger items.

thanks

Learn to use renewable energy. Not solar panels but use Wind energy.

Yep just spend thousands of shards on them pack the entire roof with them u will be good to go. :) nah I prefer generators, we have tons of gas, so no biggy.
