How to kill Haragusket

This boss makes no sense. Rainbow slime was easy to identify the ridiculous gimmick, but what about this guy? There are mirrors/puddles in the arena, I deflect the first set of swords, damage him to half life, unable to damage him again after 20 min of sword spam so I just suicide. What's the trick?

Ranged spells are what you need here, or spells which deal damage in an area - like fissure. Cast your ranged spell inbetween the two sets of sword throws.

Thanks for the reply, but I still cannot damage beyond the first time it lands in the center pool. Once I do damage there, no matter what, on the top throwing swords or landing back in the middle pool, 0 damage is done with every single element of spells.

Confirmed boss is bugged, You can only deal damage ONE time after it lands. Anytime after that, you have to suicide. Guess I'll skip until it is fixed. I've done every possible combination of magic, deflects, pools, ranged attacks, melee, DOT's, aoe's, and nothing damages the boss after the first instance of damage it receives.

Are you sure it’s bugged? When the owl lands you have to damage the little red owls that pop up around the perimeter to damage it. Worked fine for me.

Nope. No owls appear. This is exactly what I do. Fight starts, block all swords, Owl lands in middle, I use Thunderbolt, gets to half life, flies back up, repeat as initial start, cannot damage anymore. No red owls popped up. I have looked up high and low and nothing is there. Can you even target these things? Why is this gimmick so bad? Rainbow slime was easy but this is just obnoxious.

Huh, weird. I was struggling against it because I couldn't damage it, but then I realized I was using dark magic which it's immune to. Once I switched my spells up it was no problem.

I think I understand whats going on - you're parrying all 8 swords and casuing him to land in the middle (so you can close damage him). There may be a bug causing him to become invulnerable at this point (will look into this).

What you need to do is NOT parry all 8 swords. and just damage him from afar.

Yea, so he becomes immune if you do too much damage first phase. I had no idea there was a second lmao. I switched to my lowest damage single target move and that gets me through phase one with a bit of luck cause he still becomes immune sometimes. Then I get to phase 2 and see what the other guy meant by red owls. But then there are 15+ adds. xDD

I hope this is the only boss in the game this buggy with that many adds.

No worries. Reward was worth it. An ingredient for whirlwind. I'm lightning/dark build. Whirlwind breaks the game so *shrug* xDD
