Wii U added to cross-platform on thursday!
Wii U version is coming worldwide this week, and is cross-platform with Steam etc.
Nintendo is the only console maker allowing console cross platform play.

Sony or MS didn't allow it in Pure Chess, so i guess the same goes for this game.
Wii U/3DS is also cross-platform in that game.

Awesome. I bought this on Wii U today, I wonder if there's any discount for multiple copies cross system so I can send 1 to a friend who is Wii U -less. I love that they sell a 2 player bundle for $10 on steam, wish they did something like that for the console.

Just got this on Wii U today. Not hard to understand but tough to learn deeper strategies. Tried Skirmish against 2 other players (most likely PC players who've had the game for months) and was backed into a corner within a few minutes.

Toki Tori 2+ developer gave away free Steam keys to everyone who bought it on Wii U.

Since PC version may be weak on life online now du to age, it would be nice with some Steam free keys for Wii U version buyers to try and increase online community.

Thanks to the Humble Bundle My Wii U -less friend will be jumping into the fray. Awesome.

Yes, its great.

When you buy the bundle, you can play it on Android, PC, MAC and Linux.
This will increase number of online players on Wii U, but also give community a even bigger boost.
Wii U community is very good in this game, but weak on other systems besides IOS.

Sony allows it as well, but because of difference in updating cycles something like Warframe and CS:GO, even when they were planning it, dropped that support. I guess with CS:GO it was also difference between control method where controller players would be wrekt with mouse players. Portal 2 can be played coop between PS3 and PC and Final Fantasy XIV also supports it and that's also reason why it isn't coming to Xbox: http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/07/09/why-final-fantasy-xiv-isnt-coming-to-xbox-360-or-xbox-one

It's definitely nice to see Nintendo allows this as well as if they decided to go trough Wii U only multiplayer there would be much less players there.

True.
Many years ago,PS3 had a different game with cross-platform. I think it was in year 2007.
Unreal Tournament 3.

Sony refused cross-platform support in Pure Chess last year btw. The devs asked Sony, but they denied it. Nintendo allowed it on both Wii U and 3DS.

Shadowrun is maybe the only Xbox 360 game with cross-play with PC. Also from 2007 or so.

Anyway.. As for Cubemen 2, Wii U users have made almost 1000 levels already on the touch Gamepad.

Scroll down and check 32 latest levels. Shows the map skills on IOS users vs Wii U users. ;)
