I am having the same problems as you with this title :'(
current spec
AMD 1090T 6Core CPU O/C @ 3.8Ghz
8GB DDR3 @2000Mhz
2 MSI Nvidia GTX560Ti Hawk VGA in SLi Surround
3x IBM Sony Trinitron P275 monitors @ 3840 x 1024 resolution 85Hz refreash
The game spans all 3 screens with no problems other than this weird lag like the game is being paused repeatedly
Frames are ranging from 50-90 andi belive this tobe where the strange lag is coming from i just have not found a solution yet.
If any one here has solved this problem i would be very happy if you could share how you fixed it on your PC so as others here can test your solution and praise you ;).
Fingers crossed
Ok i have SOLVED the problem for my self and have come back to share with you all :D
I have installed Nvidia Inspector and done nothing but LOCK my max frame rate to 60 that is all i have done and weird lag is gone.
I hope this helps someone else :D the game is actuly pretty good now i like it :D
Just tried this, and limiting the FPS to 60 or 59 didn't change anything. My game is still slowing down to 10-12 FPS.
I am at my wit's end trying to solve this, I'm just about ready to uninstall and write off the $35 loss. I should have known better, buying a GFWL product.
Disabled and uninstalled WCG and now I'm getting perfectly playable FPS.
This isn't anybody's fault but mine, I guess.
My setup:
AMD 8120 8 Core Running @ 3.8GHz on MSI990XA - GD55
2 EVGA 9800GT Video Cards
2 Corsair 120GB SSD in Raid 0
8GB DDR3 Running @ 1866
Windows 8 Pro w/MediaCenter
Win 7 Pro
C2D 3ghz
4gb RAM
nvidia 560gtx
thats why it didnt work for you im sorry as your system was slowing right down to 10-12FPS locking it at 60 was never going to do anything for you where was you system going to magickly come up with another 40FPS.
I would like to know what your system specs are that this is running so bad on :( maybe i can help you some more after i recive them MAYBE there are no garunte's.
Sounds like your keyboard could be part of the problem here from what you say in your post.
Id like to ask are you holding the W key for this beeping to happen or just pressing it 1 time, If holding it and your gettin gthe beeping it sounds as if the system can buffer the key strokes and is complaining that you are holding a key down.
you might try googleing your keyboard model number and see if others have had similar problems.
do you hav a freind with a PC maybe ask if you can borrow his/her KB for a test and see if it helps out at all.
Sounds to me like you have set your settings to high and your system cant cope with it as you say it happend after changing your setup a bit and it was fine untill then = reversing said changes you made should solve the problem.
Guys it helps if you can post how many FPS you are getting as it helps others to determin the type of problem you may / maynot be having quicker.
