Unable to bind new keys

I am unable to bind different keys or joystick buttons. When I go to edit a bind it says it's already assigned, even when it's not. It's like some button is constantly being pressed which is preventing any other binds from happening.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Before you try to rebind things i would recommend to do these steps.

After you have done that you can try again.

You can rebind keys with the "E " button.

But i recommend to delete the buttonbindings with "Backspace" key first and after that to reassign with "E"key.
You can always reset to the default with "R"key.

Important for joystick,throttle and other inputdevices:

If you own a joystick you should makesure that the stick is centered and not moving.

The same thing with the throttle if you have one, it should be centered at zero.

If you are not sure that your imputdevice is putting out any signals you can always check them under "hardware" gamedevices like gamepad or joystick (rightmouse gamecontrollersettings) also good to check for deadzones .

Make sure that no button or an analog input is triggered.

Oops my bad.

You can't unassign keyboardbuttons for some reason.
Backspace key doesn't work for the keybaord settings sorry.

Well the "backspace" only works for joystick/hotas/gamepad .

Maybe somewhere in the guide you will find the solution.
