There are lots of old point and click games that have very obsecure solutions to puzzles in them. Does this game have puzzles with obsecure solutions?

Well, as a kid i couldn't pass this game without a solution. For grown-up i guess it's somewhat averagely difficult.
They hint you most of the points if you listen closely, and overall it's still easier than Day of the Tentacle.

This game is short in comparison with other of this genre, few puzzles are trick, most of them you will be able to do without help from online guides. Just pay attention to the dialogues from NPCs and you will understand what must be done. A lot of fun during the process also.

yeah, it's shorter and smaller and because of this might be easier than most, you don't have that much locations and items to juggle

The game is pretty easy compared to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Atlantis, for example.
