Biker Fight Bug

Hey so during the section where you have to fight all the Bikers to get the goggles from the Cavefish biker I experienced a Bug where whenever I selected the 2x4 while fighting the Cavefish it would still be using whichever weapon I have previously selected even though the 2x4 is selected at the bottom left.

Now I did manage to get past this bit using the skeleton mace thingy but I just wanted to point out that this happens. It happened only with the Cavefish as well, in every other fight when I selected the 2x4 it would show up normally but in the one fight where you actuall kinda need it it doesn't show up. Anyone else had this happen to them too?
