Hello, both for remote play together (which is a Steam feature) and to play Mirror Online in casual mode with a friend, you have to invite a Steam friend... in the case of remote play you can do it by clicking on the banner what's in the home of the game... and in casual Mirror, with the first button in the mirror area...
