Arcen chose the name A Vally Without Wind as a sort of inside joke. here is a link to arcens official wiki which explains one of the reasons for the name choice.

it could also be possable that it is also a reference to the anime though i suppose only those who fully understand the joke can tell.

Could i ask if there is any chance to make the current bata version of the AVWW 1 the steam version as i dont realy want to update it incase steam thinks its out of date and undose the update.

It really was a great anime. I remember watching it on TV in some weird episodes format (chopped up movie) very long ago on some local channel and they kept showing the same episodes, but not the final one and that was before the days of the internet so I really wanted to see more of it >.<

You should read the Nausicaa manga if you haven't. It's even better than the anime movie. Possibly the best thing I have ever read.
