Mouse lag on Mac (M1 Pro)

When I'm running the game on my mac, from either the mac or parallels, the game runs smoothly but there seem to be a mouse lag when clicking. about half a second from the time i click the mouse until the game reacts. happenes with external mouse and macbook's trackpad.

Tried disabling hardware mouse from the game settings but it didn't do anything.

Doesn't happen on my windows PC.

Anyone had this issue? Any ideas?
