Menhirs
so in Siege of Dragonspear i just finished the map with the (broken) bridge. all i've got left is the menhirs. i said the wrong thing to one of them and got a golem out of it. now i can't activate it. is this a bug? am i supposed to be able to activate it, even though i've done the wrong thing with it once?

bumb, because this still isn't fixed.

Yes, because the next patch is still not out.

Encountered the same bug as OP tonight, during my second attempt to play through this game (last save scrapped due to game breaking bug). I'm guessing this hasn't been fixed yet and this supposed patch is still "coming"? I'm hesitant to continue lest i encounter more bugs that leave me unable to finish the game.

- Playing the game version from Beamdog website not steam version.

Yes, it's still coming.

Hi all

I had the same bug but i could reset the menhirs with the console and complete the quest.
It happend yesterday so it seems that the bug isn't fixed yet.

This post on the beamdog forums helped me with that (the credit goes to AndrewSmee)

""I ran into this as well, activating all six menhirs but the ghost not appearing. I used the console commands Jarrakul helpfully posted above after activating the BG:EE console (instructions here: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/61900/how-to-enable-the-console-in-bgee-sod-bg2ee-in-version-2-0-and-later )

The full commands you need to plug into the console to reset the menhir variables are:

C:SetGlobal("bdmenhi1_rune","GLOBAL",0)
C:SetGlobal("bdmenhi2_rune","GLOBAL",0)
C:SetGlobal("bdmenhi3_rune","GLOBAL",0)
C:SetGlobal("bdmenhi4_rune","GLOBAL",0)
C:SetGlobal("bdmenhi5_rune","GLOBAL",0)
C:SetGlobal("bdmenhi6_rune","GLOBAL",0)

Do that, and any troublesome menhirs should be reset and resingable. I was able to complete the quest after doing so.""

(For me personally it was the starting menhir where the bard is at the encampment. It seemed that was menhir number 4 so that was the only one i had to reset to advance the quest).

I hope this helps!

Just encountered this bug... and it's still not fixed? Yikes.
