Can't go with Caelar bug(?)
Hi!
I'm in chapter 10. When leaving the coalition camp to Dead Man's Pass I find General Stonehand, de Lancie, Nederlock and Caelar and her troop. She asks me to join her but whatever choice I make (even the ones agreeing to go with her) doesn't make any difference and she goes away promissing to attack to coalition.
Is it a known bug? How do I fix it??

There must be something you misunderstand. Caelar Argent is not an NPC companion. At this point of the expansion she doesn't fight on your side. Only in the end fight you can influence her to become your ally.

But she asks me to go with her, and no matter my response (if favorable or not to her intentions) she threats to attack the coalition camp and the generals blame me for it.

Is it as intended then?

It's called "railroading" although usually writers have enough talent and care for the reader to at least pretend to hide it as best they are able.

Let me repeat: At that point of the game, she does not join as a companion, and you cannot forge an alliance with her either.

It seems to me you've misunderstood something about what happens during that meeting. She requests that the coalition - i.e. your allies - submit the bhaalspawn - i.e. you - to her, and the generals refuse that offer. You cannot override their decision. You have to accept it.

So this game has the worst writting I've ever seen, because even if I DO ACCEPT to go with her, those generals will keep saying it's my fault she got angry about us.
