Does this run in 1080p?

As in the title. I remember the original ran in something like 800x600 and I just want something more civilised.

I've no idea but there are mods for the original (and all the original infinity engine games) to run in modern resolutions.

If it does i'm seriously tempted. I still own the boxed Baldurs Gate series, (1, 2 and the respective expansions) but get put off playing them because of the crappy resolution on a large widescreen monitor.

The project is currently an open beta, and only some engine variants are supported, those these will expand in future releases.

Any resolution is supported, provided that its X axis is greater or equal than 800 and the Y axis is greater or equal to 600 . Fullscreen works for any resolution supported by your graphic card, driver and screen. Otherwise, you can play the game windowed (except in TotSC and Ps:T, where you can't play the game windowed)."

Edit: Guessing by the screenshots on the store page, it looks like the Enhanced Edition works in higher resolution (the screenshots fill my 1080p screen). Doesn't say in the description though :-/

No prob, I've been playing modded versions of all the old Infinity Games for years, I can't decide if to buy this Enhanced Edition either. I've already bought the original 3 times, lol (original 6 disc boxed, budget box and GoG version).
