HOW DO I GET THE PERCANTAGE FOR FIGHTER WHEN I USE THE TOMB? Also i rolled a 99 on my stats . Awsome 17 str. 18 dex 18 con. 13 int. 16 Wis. 17 cha. , the most awsome palidin in th game , Sir Scottyrok . But would be even better with a 18 strength, biu thats it just an 18 no percentage . ??????????? , how do i get the percentage for strength ?

you do know you can subtract one point fro mone stat and add it to strength at character creation correct?

yeah you should have taken the points from dex and thrown them on str, at 18 you will see the extra stat for strength. After all, fairly early in the game you can get those dex bracers to boost that to 18. They have strength ones as well, but takes a while to get those.

i think this guy got a book/tome of permanent stat increase to strenght. But when he used it he didn't get his % when he increased to 18 from a 17.

Mmm.. I think my paladin was better with only a 92 roll. 18/00 Str, 15 Dex, 18 Con, 10 Int, 13 Wis, 18 Cha.

Also Dexterity is always useful as it directly impacts your base AC. The numbers after the / on Str are random and you might not always get an "above 18" stat on a stat pool roll. For reference though, 18/00 (think of it as 18/100), roughly 400lbs carrying capacity, is the highest possible without having 19 Str.

You only get exceptional strength (the percentage value) at character creation; if you increase your Strength to 18 after that point (such as with a tome), your score will be 18 with no exceptional value.

Lower intelligence Paladins do not need it and it only effects mages in Baldurs Gate. Do this at character creation and you can get 18 str at character creation for the paladin depending on your race.
