Hi, I don´t have any text ingame, bit weird; not in the menu nor the game itself. Latest drivers are installed , AMD Radeon 7600M and noone else seems to have that problem. Any ideas? Help is highly appreciated.

I am having the same issue. I'm running it on a Dell laptop, if that helps, and I've installed the latest DirectX driver.

Never mind, on my end. Just read that the game doesn't currently support Intel integrated graphics cards.

I was having this same problem of no text in menus and dialogs (with the infamous unsupported integrated Intel graphics, no less) but managed to fix the problem by booting up the game, hitting alt+enter to change to windowed mode, then alt+enter to reenter fullscreen. I've played for about an hour now with zero issues. It's a silly fix, but you might want to give it a shot.

the game doesn´t start at all anymore, opens and closes immediately. This changeable graphics stuff and windows 8 also is killing me

I try go to window mode when I run game from steam library, but it's not help me. My solution, right click on BG in steam library > create desktop shortcut and run game from dekstop. I don't know how, but it works, game run in window mode and I have text in menu and dialogs, alt+enter to switch fullscreen. Intel HD 4000 Windows 7 SP1
