Ex-party members?
So I built what I hoped would be a pretty solid party composition with the pregen characters, but felt it was best to keep my options open and have hired every single person who has asked to come along with me. Now I find myself in need of a support caster and don't know if I can find my original party members.

Is this possible? Do I just need to make the trek back to Candlekeep?

I don't know too, but , I noticed that my dead ex members bodies can be found exatcly where they died, it makes me think I can revive them at some point, or maybe it is the game pointing at my face I let them die

I just now let Jagan Battleforge go in favour of a man in Beregost and Battleforge just stayed where he was. Hopefully this means than I can go back to where I left the others behind but it's gonna be a trek and a half and even then I still have to find em...

If I remeber right they go and wait in friendly arm inn

They wait where you leave them, so it is a good idea to establish a base (just pick an abandoned building in town or something), take all your party members there, and disband them. As long as you are in good standing with the character when you kick them out they will wait where they are. Some characters will not rejoin due to alignment choices, but can still be recruited if you manage your alignment. They are generally only gone forever if they walk off screen and disappear after telling you how much they hate you.

Characters added in the EE will return to the Friendly Arm Inn, except Rasaad, who returns to Nashkel, when removed from the party.

If you dump your characters on a map that you cannot travel to your characters technically still exist, probably, but they cannot be reached. Temporary maps used for random encounters are cleared as soon as you visit them, so you can never recover something left behind in one of those areas.

No revival at that point. They have to be in your party in order to use raise dead on them. Once they are removed they simply become a body and you have no way to recruit them back in. It is odd that they just remain there though.

I "think" Imoen might return to the Friendly Arm Inn (unless you tell her to stay where she is.) but I almost always take her so it has been a long time.

i try to disband all party members in friendly arm inn main floor. If it's a joined pair and i just want to keep one in my group i disband them in a side building and run out before they talk to me. Keeping the other character in my group without having to kill one.
