Just bought BGEE, but Steam won't download it

I got BGEE today and the icon for the game showed up in my library, but I can't download it. There's not even a download button on the library page. I've tried other download links and nothing works.
I tried downloading some other games and they worked just fine, so it's just BGEE.
What do? Halp.

hmm, did you try going to the store page? Right near the top it should say in a green banner "you already own this game" then a "play now" button within it

Yeah, I tried that too, and no luck. I even found a command install link online while troubleshooting and that didn't work either.

Check your bank account online to make sure a transaction happened... Then I would go ahead and contact steam support via the help button at the top.. best of luck buddy

Are you on a PC or on a Mac? I'm fairly sure the version on Steam is the PC only version, so if you're on a Mac, that might explain why it isn't installing.

Otherwise, I have no idea. It might just be that the servers have been overloaded, or it is a Steam-side bug. If all else fails, contact Steam support. They generally respond pretty quickly to any problems.

you RIGHT_CLICK on BG icon in your library and there's no install option? then is it on your hard drive in your steam folder ?

I should have enough hard drive space.
I'm running Windows 7 on a bootcamped Mac, but every other PC game works so I'm expected Baldur's Gate to as well.
When I right click on the icon there is no install option, just: Manual, Forum, Store, Add to Favorites, Set category, Add Desktop shortcut. I linked a Desktop shortcut, and it looked like it tried to open and install, but nothing happened.

Odd. I suggest you mail Steam support then, with as many details as possible, including that you're running Windows 7 on a bootcamped Mac. I don't see why that should prevent you from playing the game, unless there is some really weird code in BGEE, but it may be good to mention it just in case.
