Ok, I finished the Nashkel Mines..I talked to Xan and dismissed him. He left. I got his sword, but can't use it...can I selll it? Haha! Where's the best place to sell it. :)

i beleive you cannot sell it or use it.....i think. NPC spacific item.

i have even went so far as to replay the game and name my main character Xan...hahahahhaha and i still couldn't use it.

yeah as its been said you can't use it...
even if you kill Xan it won't be "opened up"... kind of too bad, because I got the team I want to use this playthough.. neat sword.

and ofcause you can't sell it, I keep it though, it is as I said before a neat sword and why not?

If you knew the history of elven "moonblades" in the game, they are tied to its user. So, they incorporated that into the game. Only Xan can use the blade; that's it, move on.

The blade isn't that great. There's much better swords in the late game.

okay, you get the sword, export char, start a NEW game with that char, BAM you got the sword, do the main quest until you find him again, and BAM you now have 2 moonblades. so my question is, can he duel wield them?

Good idea Pookie. I just tested it and he can dual wield them. He even gets double bonus, so AC-2 and 100% fire resistance
