importing character
When you import a character, does it let you select a class kit from your basic class like you could in the original BG1 - BG2?
For example I'm playing a female thief on BGEE. when I import do I get the option to choose one of the class kits? or should I have chosen from char creation?

Ah. Thanks for the info. Was hoping to have kitted to an assassin for BG2 EE. Plan on using all tomes on main char

It is possible to edit your character with EE Keeper to change your class to the kitted version

A saved game editor. You can add items or gold to your inventory, change stats, weapon proficencies, saved spells. Heck, you can change your avatar and make your character look like a squirrel.

I had a look at EE Keeper. Looks a lot of fun. Changing your pic/ stats etc. This could be interesting

You won't have an option to choose a kit when importing, but BGEE has all the kits\classes from BG2, so you can just start with the one you want from the get go.

I changed the kit class for my main, and a few of the NPC's, but I noticed the abilities the kits grant aren't active. I think I have the latest version 1.0.2.6?
