thank you! i'll just leave her at that bridge :D
i think neera is a bit stronger as wild mage, she has only 5% chance for wild surge casting normal spells and she has the spell slots of a specialist without banned schools
also when u get enough surge protection u can cast higher level spells mostly for free
imoen as a mage needs a lot of time to get going and i need a mage right now :P
to conclude, getting Coran at level 3 lets you shape him better with traps and locks skills
yea archers are really op in bg1, but i like playing with at least 2 mages to disable, dispel nuke etc
right now my charname sorceror is kinda weak at level 3 so he really needs a colleague :D
maybe when he's strong enough I'll ditch neera and get another archer, we'll see!
(ie like if you watch movies and don't care about characters much then it fine, but if type that question why you should have cared then it might* depending how easy you can attache yourself to them)
*might because bg1 companions by default are rather minimal and require more player thought and filling (and or mods).
it is kinda hard to get attached to BG1 companions since u cant really interact with them (es talk action doesnt work) but its totally different in BG2 and i will definitely take her along there if shes important :) (shes also the only good thief in bg2 iirc)
Ya depends on person, I mean there are people easily able too (doing so even on some rouge likes/games with armies "meant"to die ie xcom) and some that straight up don't care even if they flushed out. There is still a little in Bg1 and just the feeling of her following all the way through or w/e your journey of BG1 will imo make you feel more connected (unless not type that does) still regardless with just her being there and helpful etc...
Outside the Friendly Arm in is a ring of evermemory hidden in a small cache in a tree which doubles the amount of level 1 spells you can use on Sorcs and Mages
