You can sell ankheg shells to Taerom, the blacksmith in Beregost, or have him make a suit of armor from one.
You can sell at least one wyvern head to Kelddath, the priest at the temple east of Beregost, the rest you can sell to Vai, the Flaming Fist officer in the Jovial Juggler who buys bandit scalps, or to Thalantyr at High Hedge.

The wizard at Sorcerous Sundries in Baldur's Gate will also buy wyvern heads.

That armor's the best in BG1, as effective as field plate with less than half the weight. You can also ring it.

Also at Feldepost inn in Beregost will buy them at 500

For the love of Myrkul, this thread has been dead for almost 5 years.

You never know when I'll return to the game.

When we are already necroing then we might as well correct this mistake. It is the second best armor in the game, after full plate.

You can also sell Ankheg shells to Fenten in the Southeastern Section of West Baldur's Gate.

Taerom the smith in Nashkel gives the best price on ahkhegs. He'll give 500 GP. If you have more than 1 you might need to drop most of them outside and sell 1 at a time. Fenten , mentioned above also takes all and gives 250 GP.
