Your normal game had a save file located exactly like this:
C:users\main user\my documents\baldurs gate enhanced edition \ ( the save folder was in here )
maybe Win 10 renamed your folder called " users " or the folder called " main user " or maybe even the folder called " my documents " and now the game doesn't know where to deposit the save file now.
Anyhow, thanks for your assistance :)
Crazed Possum, thnx for your input once again.
1. copy your save game folder onto your desktop for safe keeping. Copy and paste it onto the desktop.
located here: C:users\main user\my documents\baldurs gate enhanced edition \ ( the save folder is in here )
2. uninstall Baldurs gate enhaced edition.
3. run a registry cleaner ( just in case ) i use CCLEANER that you can Google and get online. Remember to run the registry cleaning part of the program.
4. reinstall the game.
5. Copy and paste your old save folder ( desktop ) back where it needs to be :
C:users\main user\my documents\baldurs gate enhanced edition \ SAVE
6. try it out.
