How Do You Quit The Game?

So far the only way I can get out of the game is to hit ctrl alt del, then end the program there. There must be an easier way???

Of course there is.

Under the Options menu (available directly from your main play screen) is QUIT GAME.

Yeah, I hit that, but it doesn't quit the game. It throws me into another menu, and quit is not one of the choices.

The box that should have quit in it, the second quit, is blank for some reason.

Never seen that before. While I have seen other interface bugs previous to the EE, not seen that one ever. All I can suspect at this point is a problem with your installation.

ALT+F4 maybe?

The box is there; it's just opposite the box labelled "store". But there's nothing in the box. Clicking on the empty box does nothing. But ctrl alt del works, so I guess I'll just have to get used to it.

When the box pops up you can hit 'y' for "yes quit" instead of clicking on the yes. Tried that?

Alt F4 does the trick. Thanks for that. Hitting 'y' didn't work, unfortunately. It's a wierd problem, one I never had back in the old days when i played the original game.

After you hit Quit, first it will ask you if you want to Save, Quit or Cancel. This will take you to BG's main menu. At the right-bottom is a button called Back (it's directly under Store). Hit this button, and you will be taken to the start menu (where you could pick Tutorial, Baldur's Gate or Black Pit). From there, just hit Quit at the bottom to finally exit the game.

Yeah, the UI layout is pretty weird.

@Nash That did the trick. Thank you. It's kind of a convoluted way to exit the game, but it works.
