You can so long as the install (version, updates, mods) are exactly the same as the one you are moving from. I think it may need to be the same OS as well. Not sure about that.

If you want to manually move them you can find them under this location on a Windows computer: C:\Users\<yourUser>\Documents\Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition\save

Your manually transferred save files should also (in theory) work just as well, but as was stated above may vary depending on mods; I currently play vanilla BGEE therefore can't verify save file dependencies introduced by mods. Logically it makes sense to synchronize game installations at least initially then alter the setup after the game is tested to be operable with the save files.
