There is one essential utility for BGEE, however. If you plan to use any mods at all with BGEE and have SoD installed. You will need something called a “DLC Modmerge” to make mods work with both components. One is https://github.com/Argent77/A7-DlcMerger/releases/tag/v1.3 and the other is https://www.gamepressure.com/download.asp?ID=76976. You should only install one!

Sorry. Just the general links. I don't use this mod myself. Scrolling through GitHub is tedious.

Using Github is a quest in itself, with instructions for anything downloaded written in a combination of pig latin and shorthand.

its still not bad. thats what ive stuck with until i can get some mods working ok

Gonna have to look at some of these mods. Played the game all the way thru WAY back when it 1st came out....F/MU/Th MC. Only mods i have used in recent play starts, are EEKeeper, the XP cap remover and portrait packs. Gonna have to take a hard look at some of these other options.

Sword Coast Stratagem mod on Gibberlings 3. I use it just for the move npc's option. All companions are in more accessible locations so you can recruit them near the start of the game . For instance, Alora is a great thief but you normally cant recruit her until chapter 5 inside baldurs gate. This mod moves her to Gullykin so you can get her as soon as you can make it here.
