Glint can not disarm traps / use thieving skill

Has anyone else come across this?

I used glint as my thief, instead of Safana and after the dungeon with a lich I could no longer disarm traps, only locate them, but the disarm/thieving button is greyed out and can no longer be used.

I found some old posts about how using the "Set Snare" ability could disable the disarm skill and I remember I did just that in the dungeon. Except the solution to that bugwas supposed to be resting but that doesn't work for me.

Are you wearing heavy armor? He can't use thief skills while wearing heavy armor. When using multiclass characters certain abilities are lost if you equip items that don't fit with both classes.

Argh, I can't believe I missed that. I had Glint equip Viconias "Splint Mail", when I traded her for the Shaman character. Clumsy mistake on my part, thanks a lot for the tip!
