Bisexual and transexual in game?

I just was looking at metacritic and saw that your expansion has Bisexual and Transexual content in game. Is this true? Please verify so that I won't wast my money purchasing this expansion.

Metacritic has a user rating of 3.9 at this current time.

Being a PC gamer from the late 70's I find this short of liberal perversion to be disgusting. Especially to a clasic game like Bauldur's Gate.

This is the very reason why I Don't Purchase alot of the newer Big Title RPG's that are currently out.

At the very least you could have included a filter.....

Most complainers don't have a problem with gay and trans characters being in the game. They care about them being badly shoehorned in for no other purpose than for Amber Scott to signal her virtue to all her "progressive" buddies, while boasting about how "progressive" she is to a tabloid rag like Kotaku, who fairly recently declared that "gamers are dead" and told developers "gamers don't need to be your audience".
I certainly don't need to be Scott's audience, I'm sure about that.

TBH the whole transexual stuff is totally irrelevant in a world where someone change their sexuality at whim with girdle of masculinity/femininity or with a spell(Edwin, BG2/TOB).

The crew writing this should understood this since beamdog does flaunt itself as company that is deeply versed into forgotten realms and baldur's gate lore. They could have easily turned the whole thing into a quest where the npc ask the player to find/forge/steal/whatever the girdle for him/her.

OMG who cares about this crap just get used to it some people are bisexual and transexual get over it Safana was always bisexual anyway in case you didn't realise. Also Beamdog worked really hard on this DLC so of course it will have LGBTQI content but I'm glad it does because it's being open to people. thanks for reading closed minded homophobe.

Thanks for your reply all. I now know that this expansion is not only full of Bisexual and Transexual Content, but it has bugs and poor writing as well. I will not be purchasing this expansion and I am sure glad I did not jump on it at day one of release. I wonder what Beam Dogs version of Bauldur's Gate 3 would have...? Sexual relations with preteens and animals?

I am shutting to door on this smear of an expansion on the Good Name of Bauldur's Gate. Beam Dog - keep your liberal agenda out of your games.....

You dont have any other problems than this do you? Why would anyone who isnt gay would care about there is a character in game that is. I mean comon there are gay people in real world, i know someone, why wouldnt there be in a forgotten Realms, for me this just makes the game deeper.

From what I can tell, most people have a problem with the shoe-horned politics/poor writing, not the fact that it has a transexual/bisexual. Have you read any of the replies here?

If its poor writing i undestand it. But just because there is a gay char isnt enough for me to judge a game as bad. Obviously the opener of this thread has problems with gay, he even compares it to sodomy.

I wrote it before and will it again. If you dont have a problem with gay or tree lovers or whatever im fine with it, but have a problem with the poor writing. But from what i read, there are a lot of reviews only having problems with gay people are at all in game.

In an RPG, the writing can potentially make or break a game to alot of people. People might dismiss an RPG with bad story just like people who are a fan of FPS games might dismiss a game with poor gunplay or people who like Roguelikes might dismiss a Roguelike because the items are not interesting enough to them. I'm personally a fan of RPGs(mostly SRPGs, JRPGs, etc., and less so CRPGs) and one of the biggest selling points for a game to me can be the story and the characters.
