Can't disable auto cast

I can't figure out how to keep my character from auto casting random spells. The solo shaman I have likes to immediately cast cure light wounds after my battle ends with no prompting, while I have her selected, which I can deal with. However, my fighter/mage likes to use mirror image right after I use sleep or get out of a fight which is irritating. I can't find any option to turn this off.

AI scrips have always been under on the character screen under "customize"; now they simply default to some new "smart" AI instead of passive

i have this problem too. as soon as we start combat my mage casts his spell. how do i shut this auto casting off. i have no clue how i turned it on. i remember seeing something in the manual but i cant find it. OMG this simple of a problem and its killing me...please help

found it...i just neded to reread what you wrote above. was not thinkiong about going that far back in character "customize". hell i dont remember when i went in and changed it.

Remember you can fine-tune the new AI settings at the right side, if you scroll down there to toggle all the options for offensive/defense spells, items usage and such details.

I know this is an old thread, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I never knew you could scroll down these settings. Mindblowing.
