Is Siege of Dragonspear mod friendly already?
Is Siege of Dragonspear mod friendly already? I heard it arrives as some sort of archived file, and that it is quite hard/impossible to make mods work with it. Has anything changed here yet? I've been waiting for a discount, but I feel like playing the saga once more soon perhaps, but this would definitely postpone purchase.

You should use a special tool, Modmerge, available at http://github.com/ScottBrooks/modmerge/releases, to install mods on BGEE with SoD. Currently, a lot to mods are compatible with the game. You can check the list here - https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/50340/bg-ee-2-0-and-siege-of-dragonspear-compatible-mods

There is also another list of mods (mentioned in the post linked by Julius) that are confirmed to be compatible with version of BGEE prior to version 2.0 (and they may still be compatible its just no one has yet posted to confirm them). This is that list.

The ones that I use (and install order) are...

Mod Merge

BGEE Classic Movies (Its nice to see some of the old movies again.)

BG Mini Quests (Collection of small but fun side quests.)

BG1 NPC Pack (Adds alot of life into the NPCs, done respectively of the lore and with love for the characters.)

BG1 NPC Music Pack (Add-on for the NPC Pack, since voiced dialog wasn't an option.)

Coran Friendship (Add-on for the NPC Pack.)

Xan Friendship (Add-on for the NPC Pack.)

Garrick's Infatuation (Add-on for the NPC Pack.)

Chatty Imoen (Adds voiced interjections and banter for Imoen. There is a minor hot fix that can be applied to prevent the mod from blanking Imoen's bio.)

Recast Jaheira (Gives Jaheira a voice in SoD using the new actress that bd hired but didn't use in the end. There is a minor hot fix that can be applied to prevent the mod from blanking Jaheria's bio.)

BG1 Romantic Encounters (Adds well ... sex ... into BG1, some encounters are PG13, others are R, but everything is completely modular. Make sure to pay attention to the README before installing to make sure if the mod is for you or not.)

BG1 Unfinished Biz (Uses existing game files to add in content that was dropped in the original saga. If you use the NPC Pack, Unfinished Biz HAS to be installed after.)

Improved Shamanic Dance (Allows Shamans to slowly move while dancing instead of being completely rooted in place. I highly recomend replacing the WeiDu 239.01 setup file with a WeiDu 239 file as 239.01 isn't quite ready yet.)

Stratagems (IF YOU INSTALL NOTHING ELSE, INSTALL Stratagems. It makes battles more fun and challanging, and strives to do so with AI improvements as opposed to simply tacking on buffs. There are several hot fixes that are needed to get it to install on BG:EE 2.0+ but is well worth the effort.)

Tweaks Anthology (Has alot of small tweaks that makes BG funner to play.)

General Biffing (Probably isn't strictly needed with my mod list, but if you install alot of the larger mods it'll improve performance. Be aware though, anything that you .biff is going to be virtually impossible to uninstall without simply starting fresh.)

Multikit Builder (Lets you add and remove kits for multiclass characters without doing it manually in Keeper.)
