Flaming fists keeps on showing up and attacking,
I accidentaly killed a flaming fist and got my reputation down to 1 in baldur's gate city after angelo released me and my party from the prison since a certain person was in my team ( avoiding spoilers). I got the reputation back up to 10 by making donations. Also, I did go to the coronation ceremony and exposed Sarevok. However, am still getting attacked by flaming fists when I am near the docks in baldur's gate. Is this a bug ?

You refer to the endgame part, after you've fled from Candlekeep and got accused of murdering the Iron Throne leaders. Only a very few Flaming Fists at Baldur's Gate still support you, and you can talk to them peacefully, but all others are hostile if they see you. That's normal and story related. Indepth knowledge of how to navigate through the city through the sewers can be very helpful. Else full invisibility.

Alright, never came across that scenario when I played the originals and also enhanced editions few times. I know we need to use the sewers, but Sarevok is exposed and he is in the temple for final battle. So, I thought will go ahead and finish other side quests and suddenly I get attacked again by flaming fist even though reputation is average. I also started thinking if beamdog added something new. But that is all I wanted to know whether it was being part of the game or a bug. Thanks D'amarr from Darshiva.

Did you travel to the docks at any point when you had 1 reputation (or a very low amount of reputation?)

Yes, one of the quests there would have given me a + reputation. But, flaming fists stopped me. I went back to a temple and gave donations till I made my reputation to average.

Found out, its not only the docks. They will just show at any place in baldur's gate city. Checked if killing them gave - reputation and it does. Only option is to run from them :CLONE:

Do you happen to have a familiar by any chance? There was a bug awhile back that involved reputation traps getting triggered by them. Its possible that is a cause anyways.

If possible could you give me an approximate timeline for what you did after you got 1 reputation. Just trying to figure out whats up.

Sure. I chose evil party. Have Viconia, Edwin, Dorn, Baeloth, Me and Sharteel. Angelo, releases me from the flaming fist prison. It all started when I went to rescue duke eltan. 2 flaming fist also followed me this time. So, I went on a killing spree inside and somewhere these guys who followed me also got killed. That is where it all started. I didn't kill any flaming fists after that. Went ahead and started giving donations and got the reputation upto average. Meantime, I got attacked even in beregost when I was going to speak to vai and get that + rep. She too attacked me. This was before I got my reputation to average. But, once I got it to average she was back to herself and got me + rep. That was it, and I went into Sarevok's coronation exposed him and even then flaming fist did not attack me. These guys even follow me to the sewers to hunt me down. I then reloaded and decided to other quests outside the city.
No familiars

Thank you!! I have a rep of 3 in Chapter 3. I'm not mindlessly killing too many people. I think my legal troubles started when I killed Silke, who deserved it for trying to trick me. That should be a legit/allowed kill. I re-loaded to before killing the insane, drunken wanna-be-lich guy, but he wasn't the cause. I haven't killed any other people, except Minsc, who attacked me first, and Dynaheir, of course, but she's a witch and there weren't any witnesses left alive to talk about that. Oh, and Prism. Again, no witnesses. Oh, and that crazy guy who asked me to find him a scroll only to give me the same scroll back. He was clearly insane anyhow, and again, no witnesses. Oh, and there were those two druids, but they both attacked me, one after the other, and yes, no witnesses. And there is that smart-mouthed guy in the Feldpost Inn. I killed him, too, but again, he started it. There were witnesses there, but I've done that many times and never had legal problems as a result.

Yes, I'm laughing myself sick when I start REALLY examining my character's behaviour. Neutral Evil, so hey! What can I say?? I'd like to be able to pay a fine or be imprisoned, but these do not seem to be an option at this point in the game. Sad that you cannot get really down and evil and still finish the game, but your tip will help!! :-D

I'm not thrilled that you will get attacked for just having a low reputation. That's insane. Unless you've actually broken the law, the Flaming Fist should not be attacking you. People are talking smack about you isn't crime. Too bad that that cannot be fixed in the code.

I was looking for the global variable in the EE Keeper to reset for the Flaming Fist, but I couldn't find one. It seems that I have to have a rep of at least 5, or make it to where I didn't kill Silke. :-( Wench totally deserved that from a NE character.

game gives out like 10 wands of hold person and terror and such.

I've never had any issue simply disabling the flaming fist.

I'm having the same issue, any time i try rest inside an inn in baldur's gate they interrupt. It also seems to drop me out of the inn menu sometimes instead of sleeping

just cast fear, charm person or any other disable spell on them and go on with your life.
