I am unable to read this, some sort of cryptic clue about reading backwards. Any advice?

How much of a spoiler do you want?

It's just a hint, yes. The Tome alone is useless. But remember that doing something "backwards" on the second level of the dwarven dig site may lead to something.

Hi, thanks again for your reply and the tip-off. I'm midway through Chapter 10 and thought that the book, seeing as it's called a "tome", might be a tasty to permanently boost a skill point. Ta

Then did you solve the puzzle with the four pillars by trial-and-error instead of taking into consideration the various hint from the books?

Yeah, the old trial and error. Apart from some pacing issues and one crash on my souped-up Windows 7, I'm really enjoying this expansion. What do you think of it?
