Durlag's Tower and other areas with citizens/commoners bear a risk of killing them in friendly fire. You wouldn't be the first player who killed someone innocent accidentally.
I don't think we'll ever see a BG3. Bioware has long since moved on to their own IPs. They're not doing anything in the DnD ruleset anymore, and I can't say I really blame them.
Yeah, Keeper can fix this, whether its a bug or if some innocent got caught in a little "friendly" fire.
Yeah my evil party with a whopping rep of 6 was exploring the city of BG when some Harper guy just up and attacks me (what idiot attacks 6 armed people with only a dagger...). After his swift demise my rep drops to 4. Then I walk into a bar and some paladin guy attacks me. Again, being 1 on 6, that ends fast, but now my rep is a 1 and I can't move without flaming fist squads lining up to see who I can kill next.
Come on, we might be murderous scoundrels, but we were just minding our business when we were unprovokingly attacked. Given the fact that apparently everyone, everywhere knows when we kill some random person 4 towns away (drones, obviously), you think they would be a little more careful around us...
its not too bad. is kind of silly that you lose 10 Rep per cop and they all know it was you even with no witnesses, but you get 1 or 2 rep winning a war or something saving a city, and lose 10 for killing a hostile cop.
