99K in gold and nothing to spend it on.
I'm at the point where outside of buying the Sandthief Ring, which I don't really need because I've done all of the thieving quests and Imoen shouldn't be backstabbing anyway, or the Greenstone Amulet, I don't have anything to spend money on. I'm doing optional quests in Baldur's Gate the first time you visit the city as per Haeravon's guide. This leads me to a few questions with the following caveats.

I haven't sold a single potion, bit of magic ammunition that I've come across, or scroll of protection though I haven't looted absolutely every house or locked chest. I'm rocking the following party

7th Level Bezerker 3 Profiencies in Longswords 3 In Two-Handed FIghting
Dorn at 7th
Kagain at 7th
Viconia at 7th
Imoen at 6 Thief/ 7 Mage
Edwin 7th

I've pretty much gotten equipment according to the guide

So onto my questions. I plan on getting siege of dragonspear. Does gold transfer? Does any equipment I am carrying transfer? What about my companions? What about items being carried? All of that will effect how I send them in. My main character may get weapons and items that are of absolutely no use just to transfer them to the dlc.

Finally what should I purchase for Durlag's Keep and Werewolf Island? Any ammo besides enchanted make it that much easier? I know there's stuff there that can only be hit with +1 weaponry. What about +2?

You probably mean "two-weapon fighting" not "two-handed fighting".

/// spoilers ///

Gold transfers, but is lost nevertheless as part of the story. You may retreive a bit, but you're better off investing into items.

All equipment transfers. Caveat below.

The entire party transfers, but Imoen leaves the party, is replaced with Safana, and you need to fetch Imoen's equipment from a second chest in her room at Ducal Palace.

After the first prologue-style chapter, all your companions leave temporarily, and some will be gone forever. Kagain in your case. Everything he had equipped will be lost. His items from the inventory slots will be put into a special chest that will follow you through most of the expansion, but it is important to unequip all of Kagain's items before leaving the prologue dungeon. Last time I played with Dorn, his equipped items were lost due to a bug that's still not fixed. Details here: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/49943/confusion-over-equipment
I had to work around that, or else I would only find Dorn's ancient equipment from the start of BGEE.

Durlag's Tower: high Find Traps skill will be beneficial.

Werewolf Island: high damage output to counter regeneration of enemies. Someone with a little bit of bast.sword skill to wield Kondar or Balduran's Sword as a bonus. Those do more than +2 against shapeshifters/lycanthropes. Or dagger skill to wield Werebane.

If you have much money, spend it on recharging wands. Sell your wands with 10-15 charges and buy them back with 50 or in some cases with 100 charges.

If you plan on playing the Siege dlc, be prepared to lose it all XD
My 400K gold...all gone

To be fair, you would have lost it anyway at start of BG2EE.

Thanks. So in my case grab all of Kagain and Dorn's stuff and stash it for later and stock up on as much +2/exploding/wounding/biting/scrolls of magic resistance/etc before I leave the first game. Appreciate it.
